NBM Shows have sponsored three national tradeshows this year for the sign, printed fabrics, and custom awards industries. Hosted in Orlando, Indianapolis, and Long Beach, they offer a national reach, and local vendors.

From September 17 through 19th, in the Long Beach Convention Center, you'll be able to attend educational seminars, and visit over 100 vendors.

Topics range from how to create durable display graphics using solvent printing, to proper illumination using the latest color LED direct lighting systems.

Expect to see new approaches to printing on complex shapes, and compound curves, as well as adding foil-based spectral highlights, and textured laminates.

One new technology to pay particular attention to is the three-dimensional shaping of polystyrene foam to "dummy up" architectural and structural details.

Pacific Coast Foam will demonstrate sophisticated shaping technologies that create compelling displays such as the Jal Mandir Temple.

End-of-Lease Considerations

Leasing agreements come in many flavors, but eventually they all end. And it's in those final months, or rather just before, that much heartache can be avoided.

The most important responsibility you, the lessee, must assume is to understand your end-of-lease actions. For example, many lessors depend upon you to signal your intentions as much as six months prior to the last payment.

Prior to this time, you, your staff, and your financial advisor must decide whether you want to keep the equipment. Once that decision has been made, be sure to advise your lessor, even if you have a dollar buyout lease. It's common for such leases to become month-to-month rental agreements if no intention is expressed.
