Another Economic Indicator

In addition to last week's declining unemployment claims (386,000, lowest since February) , our lenders are enjoying a significantly increased rate of inquiry.

Though they are still quite selective about the credit worthiness they consider profitable (default rates were very high last year), the number of printers seeking new investment capital is growing rapidly.

As the economy rebounds, the graphic arts industry feels the uptick first as their customers begin to promote anew. And as the requests for current capital equipment expand, lenders are the first to put the emerging change into a clear context.
